Rhude didn’t come from fashion school. Rhuigi Villaseñor arrived in Los Angeles from Manila at 19 with a suitcase and a vision. He started Rhude in 2015, working from his apartment, building the label’s visual identity around images he’d absorbed his whole life: California Highway Patrol uniforms, NASCAR racing suits, vintage American workwear, and the bandana. That combination became one of the most original aesthetics in luxury streetwear — functional, graphic, and unmistakably West Coast.
